Why I wrote Cattitude
My muse for these poems and illustrations is our black cat Bagheera (aka Baggy). He came hissing and spitting into our lives in 2025. Starving and feral, he showed no prior signs of human connection. But, for some reason, he chose us and has never left us since that chance summer meeting in our back garden…in Catford!
Although still very timid at times, he has an amazing presence – and a knack of showing us exactly what he feels about our actions. He is the master of blatant, unapologetic cattitude – and we love him for it!
I hope my poems and illustrations resonate with you and the feline friends that make your lives complete.
