I’m really excited to announce that my picture book Tiger Tale is now on sale.
It tells the story of Zarif, a magnificent tiger. He regards himself as a very important and scary tiger but will a cat-loving lady feel the same? My rhyming tale invites you to find out what happens when the two meet.

Why I wrote Tiger Tale
Tigers are my favourite animals and I’ve loved drawing them for as long as I can remember.
I thought it would be fun to imagine what it would be like to be a tiger and then write a story about how we see ourselves and how others may see us differently.
I hope that children and adults will have a roaring good time together reading my rhyming story aloud.

A roaring start to my self-publishing career
Tiger Tale is my first book. It has been published through my self-publishing imprint Tiger’s Eye Books.
It started off as a fleeting idea, hastily scribbled in a notepad with a scattering of extremely basic sketches. It would have stayed there too if it wasn’t for the encouragement and support of my wonderful family and friends – and the amazing design skills of my dear friend Sarah Denney.
I’m now working on illustrations for my next picture book and I’ve got many more in the pipeline so watch this space for more announcements and a sneak peek of my next book cover.
Is it time to act on your ideas?
